Four records and no more
- The shift list: a name, a number of people and a shift, written in pencil and rubbed out at close.
- The booking book: a name and a phone number for tables held more than a day ahead, kept twelve months.
- Email: your address and whatever you wrote, used to answer you and nothing else, kept twelve months.
- Trading records required of a licensed venue, kept seven years because the law says so.
What people actually want to know
Is there an account or a game history?
Neither exists. No game is played outside this building, so there is no login, no balance and nothing to record.
Do you track me around the internet?
No advertising network, no pixel, no profiling. Page requests are counted in aggregate and that is all.
Who else sees my details?
Our website host and our accountant, both under confidentiality obligations, and nobody else unless a law requires it.
Will you email me offers?
No. We do not run a mailing list and have no plans to start one.
What you can ask of us
- A copy of anything we hold about you, at no charge.
- Correction of whatever is wrong or out of date.
- Deletion once we have no reason left to keep it.
- A complaint to us first, and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if we have handled it poorly.
